Danger Charters

On your backcountry tour, you will only be visiting the very best snorkeling sites available. We have access to sites that are often inaccessible to others. Sticking to the areas that are only known by the locals, you will have the chance to view the best areas based on the day of your tour.
The Mangrove Islands await you in this backcountry kayaking expedition. You will have a chance to travel with a knowledgeable and friendly guide that will help you explore the vast and wondrous islands. As you explore the area you will experience all there is to see in this sensitive yet beautiful ecosystem on Mangrove Island. Canopied canals serve as your stream, as you paddle through the beautiful ecological wonder and view tropical birds, sharks, sport fish, and other plants and animals.

Subtropic Dive Center
Subtropic has been a dive destination for over 25 years. It has seen many changes over that time, but one thing has remained consistent over that time, and that is customer service. “The main thing we do that keeps divers coming back year after year is listening to their needs and adapting with the changing times to offer what they want,” says Robin Lockwood, owner of Subtropic.
Not only does Subtropic offer recreational dive trips out to the wrecks and reefs of Key West, but we also offer Tech diving trips for those divers who are more advanced and wish to see something different. The USS Curb, and the USS Wilkes-Barre are all wrecks that Billy Deans did back in the day, and Tech divers want a piece of that history.
We offer regular air, nitrox and Trimix fills. We offer spear fishing trips, night-dives and private charters.
We also offer off premise equipment rentals, doorstep diving and free parking. We have extra dockage for those wishing to bring in their boats and fill up their tanks.
